Echosmith Hang Around VIP Experience

My friend and I attended Echosmith’s VIP Hang Around experience before the show in Los Angeles, CA. This is by far the best VIP/Meet and Greet I have been to.

It was very reasonably priced. I paid about $100 for two packages which included tickets to the show. There were limited packages available so if this is something you want to do make sure you buy them as soon as possible.

The Hang Around Experience included the following:

  • One General Admission ticket

  • Early entry into the venue

  • Access to an intimate hang out session with Echosmith

  • Personal Polaroid Photo with Echosmith

  • Limited Edition Echosmith dad cap

  • Early merchandise shopping

  • Official VIP laminate; autographed by Echosmith

The Meet and Greet took place in the actual venue and not backstage. The VIP/Meet and Greets I have attended have always been in another area separate from where the band is performing. I’m assuming just because the venue was so small they had no where else to do it.

The Meet and Greet line moved pretty fast but the band still took as much time as they could with their fans and made sure they at least signed our VIP laminates and talked to us for a few seconds before posing for two pictures. One on a polaroid camera and one on your cell phone.

We were asked if we had anything else for the band to sign to wait until after the band was done meeting everyone. It was a great way for the fans who didn’t bring merch to go and buy something if they wanted an autograph.

After meeting them we were told that if we wanted anything signed we needed to get back in line so we were able to talk to them again for a few seconds.

The people running the meet and greet were very respectful of the fans which is something I have never experienced in a meet and greet before. The ones I have been to have always been a very rushed experience and most of the management team is always running around frantically.

The only two points I wanted to bring up was I thought we would have a little bit more time with Echosmith either talking to them, a Q&A or two acoustic song performances.

My friend and I wanted a picture together with the band but because it was strictly just a MEET AND GREET it wasn’t able to happen. I wish they would have specified it more on what the “an intimate hang out session” really was.

I also think the opportunity was missed that there was no Gelato machine at the venue. It would have been great considering their recent single is titled, “Gelato”.

In all honesty though this was a great VIP and was definitely worth what I paid. Echosmith was so down to earth and nice and they never made me feel rushed when I was talking to them.
