for KING & COUNTRY, "A Drummer Boy Christmas"

To be completely honest I don’t even know where to begin with this review, it was a world of different. for KING & COUNTRY is my band, they will forever and always hold a special place in my heart.

During the Pandemic I was having major concert with drawls so when for KING & COUNTRY announced they were doing a drive in Christmas tour there were no buts about it, I had to see them and I had to hear live music again.

This concert took place at Silver Lakes in Norco, CA. A very local and familiar place to me. I was super interested to see how they were going to transform this event area into a full on drive in concert.

My friend and I went and had no idea what to expect. We brought all the blankets and sweaters and got assigned a row to park in which was a ways back from the stage.

I remained optimistic. For the drive in concerts you are asked to turn on your car radio and keep your windows rolled up but honestly it is not needed. The music is super loud and with this concert we could hear the bass rattling the car. We had the windows down and people had lawn chairs set up in front of their cars and some people were lying on their cars watching the show.

Because of that reason it was very hard to see the band. There were tons of pick up trucks and so when people were sitting outside on their cars and in the bed of trucks it became really hard to see.

We were able to see the show just not Joel and Luke the whole time. We watched them from the screen for the majority of the concert which bummed me out because a concert is to see your favorite bands and artists in person.

The lighting was incredible and was a very important part of the concert. From bright bold reds and greens to soft twinkling blues and whites. The lights where synchronized with the music so it made it that much more visual.

as for the band, for KING & COUNTRY were as great per usual - they never disappoint.
