Sabrina Carpenter, "EVOLution" tour

This being Sabrina’s first headlining tour meant it was special - I knew when she announced she was going out on the road I had to grab tickets.

Carpenter’s vocals are just one aspect of her talent. The girl can sing, act and put on an incredible show that will leave her fans wanting more.

I saw Sabrina at the Santa Ana Observatory in the Constellation room which is standing room only so make sure to get there early to make sure you get close to the stage.

Sabrina’s opening act was Citizen Four, an all boy group; Josh, Austin, Carson and Conner. I don’t remember much of their set but I remember they sang four songs - originals and covers. I don’t think they’re a band anymore but they were entertaining.

Sabrina came out not too long after. The opening of the show was a little long with just Sabrina’s band on stage and Sabrina doing runs from somewhere behind the stage.

I loved the setlist and thought it was put together really nicely. I would have loved Sabrina to end up with a more uptempo song and for her to have song one of my favorite songs, “Right Now.”

Since Sabrina was performing at small venues I think it was difficult for her and her team to make it a visual tour but I would have also loved to have seen how Sabrina brought these songs to life.

Hearing Sabrina’s vocals live just blew me away though and she’s a natural at performing and entertaining a crowd. I would love to see her again!

Venue: The venue itself it small so the rooms inside are even smaller. It’s nice though, super intimate but warning it can get really warm in the room especially when it was as packed as Sabrina’s show. I love standing room shows though because if don’t get the chance to be up against the barricade you can walk around and see the show from different angles.

Parking: I was dropped off for this show but there was not much parking for this venue, it’s in a residential area.
